Terms of service

Northstar provides no channels, films or content of any kind. You add playlists and sources you are entitled to use.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the Northstar apps and website (the "Service"), provided by Ultimate Apps, 15 London Road, Dover, Kent, CT17 0ST, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the apps you agree to them.

2. What Northstar is

Northstar is a media player for your own playlists and media sources. It does not provide, host, sell, stream or recommend any channels, films, series or other content, and it is not affiliated with any content provider. You are solely responsible for the playlists and sources you add, and you must only add content that you are legally entitled to access and use in your country.

3. Your account

You sign up with an email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that mailbox secure. One free trial is available per account and per device. We may refuse or end trials that appear abusive.

4. Plans, trial and payment

  • Free trial: 7 days, no card required.
  • Monthly: £1.99 per month. Yearly: £14.99 per year. Both renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Lifetime: £49.99, one payment, for the life of the Northstar product.
  • Prices include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card details.
  • Each plan covers up to 5 devices. You can remove a device at any time to free its slot.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account; access continues to the end of the paid period. See our refund policy.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to infringe anyone's rights, to access content you are not entitled to, to share your licence beyond your own devices, or to interfere with, reverse engineer or attack the Service or its licensing.

7. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep the Service available, but it is provided "as is". We may update the apps, prices (with notice for existing subscribers) and these terms. If we discontinue the Service we will give reasonable notice.

8. Liability

Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not responsible for third-party content or sources you add.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

10. Governing law
